Saturday Shopping - Fashion Ilustration…and a few thank yous and a reminder

Phewf…long title….and be for warned- a looong post!!

Here it goes.

I’ve been kind of obsessed with fashion illustration lately- mostly due to my growing devotion to the artwork of Leigh Viner.

I have 3 pieces of hers right now and plan on adding 3 more to my collection very soon.

I hope to put this beauty in my master bedroom- in some very large size (though I can’t go above 30″ in height because of the new moulding so we’ll see.)

And I also think I NEED these two.

Abby is one of the most supportive bloggers out there and she always has such a kind word to say.
She is a very talented designer and I am utterly inspired by how she followed her dreams and is now living the life she imagined.
Thank you so much to Abby for doing such a sweet post about my blog- so very appreciated!!

And last, but certainly not least, I wanted to say an enormous thank you to Alcira, over at the Nero Chronicles.

I came home on Wednesday and found a package on my front doorstep, opened it up and found this…

…a gorgeous tray, perfect for my little come in the door drop offs and three delightfully girly glass diamonds…all wrapped up in the pink and gold yumminess…and a hand written note literally made me smile from ear to ear.

I’ve spoken of my feelings for Alcira before but let me just say, her divine way with words is only outdone by her thoughtfulness.

If you don’t already follow her blog, you just must.

And ps, Alcira recently contributed to the new and stunning High Gloss Mag.

It appears the magazine knows talent when they see it.

Thank you Alcira- I can’t tell you how much I treasure the friendship we have made in such a short time.
