hello.
Christine Dovey is a published stylist and designer whose signature aesthetic can best be described as a cocktail of delicate pretty mixed with a strong hit of modern edge. She believes that the most beautiful things in life are worth waiting for and that great design should feel like an art exhibit…personal, collected and memorable.
After the birth of her second child, Christine left her career as a teacher to follow her creative passions with the launch of her blog in 2010. Her musings on design, fashion and art quickly garnered the attention readers and professionals alike and helped pave the way for work in the field of interior design.
Since branching out and accepting clients, Christine has seen her design work published in Style at Home magazine, House and Home, Apartment Therapy, Style Me Pretty Living, Adore Home, Ivy and Piper, Domino and The Globe and Mail just to name a few. In addition, Christine has also enjoyed an editorial position with Style at Home magazine and has appeared numerous times as a design expert on national television.
Christine’s design business has continued to expand with clients seeking out her instantly recognizable ‘bijou’ style. She’s currently working on projects that span the globe from Australia to Norway to Beverly Hills. Christine pours her heart and soul into every project and is known for her love of the hunt…never satisfied until she’s found the absolute perfect chandelier, settee or piece of art, she finds nothing more satisfying than taking a client’s inspiration folder and transforming the fantasy into reality. As well, she is currently working on her first book and product line.
